LITTLE HELP
It just doesn't work out a lot when one person is doing all the work. When one person is
carrying the group things always seem to fall apart. This is the playoffs and it takes more than King James if the Cleveland Cavaliers want to get their fingers fitted. Where is Mo Williams? Where is Delonte West? Where is Zydrunas Ilgauskas? It's a shame cause you know how these things end up. Sometimes one person can just outshine the group. And at some point that person, no matter how nice they are, gets sick of it. Their back starts to hurt, then they have to move on.

IF YOU DON'T KNOW, NOW YOU KNOW
Mickael Pietrus is really making a name for himself in this year's playoff run. He had 16 points last night and has really been shooting the three well not to mention doing his best to try to "slow" down James. I played against Pietrus when he was a 21 year old youngster in France. I played for Adecco Asvel Villeurbanne while he played for French powerhouse Pau-Orthez. He teamed with his brother Florent Pietrus and Boris Diaw to form the most athletic team in the French League, which is the most athletic league in Europe. The Pietrus brothers were known for their high wire acts and their ability to send your shot into the stands. We ended up beating them twice but I remember walking away thinking that Mickael Pietrus and Boris Diaw were very good young players. Now I'm seeing Pietrus years later and I am not surprised. I already knew.

NO MO
The point guard battle was supposed to be won by the Cleveland Cavaliers Mo Williams. But it hasn't worked out that way. Rafer "Skip to My Lou" Alston has had his way with Williams. Alston is not suppose to be getting in the lane, hitting the tear drop floaters he's been hitting. Alston is not supposed to be toying with Williams off the pick and roll. Alston is not suppose to be able to hold Williams to less than 20 pts. Williams hasn't topped the 20 point barrier in either of the 3 games of this series. He's only shot 18 for 56 from the field going 6-24 from beyond the arc. Alston had 11 pts and 8 assists in Game 1. Yesterday in Game 3 Alston goes for 18 pts and 3 assists. If Cleveland wants to advance they have to look at their point guard Williams. He can't let this happen "NO MO."

WHO'S ON THE GRILL?
We all know today is Memorial Day. We remember our fallen soldiers and all the people who have served. We celebrate by cooking out, barbecue and relaxing with family and friends. Well, Kobe and Carmelo will be doing some of this, but not all. There will be no relaxing, but their will be some cooking. The question here is who will be doing the cooking and who will be getting cooked. If Kobe Bryant starts spreading barbecue sauce all over the Nuggets, they don't have a chance. Carmelo has to rebound from last game, by trying to heat up and get his grill on. Both of these guys are friends so it just depends on what role they play at the barbecue this evening. It's either cook or be cooked. It is Carmelo's backyard, so it just wouldn't be right if Kobe was the one on the grill. Carmelo may want to make sure he's the one doing the serving too!

WHICH GUY DOESN'T BELONG IN THIS PICTURE?

Answer is Reggie Miller. He is the nerd of the group. I love when Kenny Smith, Charles Barkley, Ernie Johnson and Chris Webber are in the studio together. These guys are hilarious and really make it entertaining to watch. Some of the stuff they say is a little over the top but hey that's what television is about these days. Reggie just doesn't seem to fit with the rest of the guys. He's a little too conservative and when he does make a joke it just doesn't seem to fit. It comes natural to the other guys. I respect Reggie Miller for his knowledge of the game and I respected him.... well more like hated him as a player. So come on TNT, do what's right. Get my boys in there. Get rid of the nerd!

MUCH RESPECT, BUT I'M TIRED OF HEARING ABOUT
