I NEED AN ERASER

I am going to do it first. I am going to be the one to apologize to Carmelo Anthony and the Nuggets. You at home should do it too. It doesn't have to be a public apology like I'm doing but you know you had already penciled in the Lakers to make it to the NBA Finals. You know you had wrote off the Nuggets like a CEO does his expenses. We didn't give them much of a chance did we? I didn't think that Carmelo could come out again and have an awesome game and he did it. 34 points and 9 rebounds last night as he produced his 5th consecutive 30 point game. I am sorry Carmelo, I doubted you. I penciled in the Lakers, but at least I didn't use a pen.

SOME THINGS JUST NEVER CHANGE

Great play by Billups last night as he threw it off of Kobe's back for the layup. I remember the first time I saw Chauncey Billups. It was in the "Boo Williams" AAU Tournament in Hampton, Virginia. Billups was from Denver but was playing with a team from Oakland, CA. I was matched up against Billups and held my own but he was good. He wasn't even the best player on his team then. There was this other little guy who was the man, but Chauncey was the most important guy. I look at him on the court now and not much has changed. He's not the best player out there but he is the one the Nuggets can't live without. When you start to hear chants of MVP...MVP... they could possibly be speaking of Billups.

WHY GO FISHING?

Explain to me why would you go fishing with you got a farmer right on your bench. You know how it is when you go fishing. You might catch a fish, you might not, depends on the day. But

a farmer always has food ready. Fresh vegetables sitting there waiting for you. You don't wait so long like when you go fishing. I'm not sure if I want to sit out there in the hot sun and hope that I catch something. I mean that was cool back in the day but at some point you got to change it up. Don't get me wrong, I use to love to go fishing, and I respect the craft. People have been fishing for years. I learned a lot from fishing, how to be patient, how to be a professional and fishing actually helped me achieve one of my greatest accomplishments in my life. But I don't know, I think I want to try farming now. It would be something new you know?

YOU'VE BEEN BAD

Sorry Orlando Magic fans, but expect a spanking tonight. I wouldn't feel so bad about it. You've done your job. You will leave here with a split and you will have home court advantage. What? Why are you getting so upset? You don't think you'll win again do you? You see that's the problem. Don't be greedy. The Cavs are going to be angry tonight and the one think I can say is that Orlando doesn't have that killer instinct yet. Spanking may not be the correct word. A beating is more like it. This could get ugly tonight.

You remember those beer commercials where the little guys yelled "Brilliant" after every statement? That's what I wanted to say when I saw the headline on ESPN's web page "Dirk's lawyer doubts Taylor is pregnant" Duh! You think? Can you believe anything this chick says. She isn't even who she says she is. She isn't even who you thought she was. She has a new name, new identity? Whatever online dating service Dirk used should be out of business.

EUROPEANS ARE SMARTER THAN AMERICANS?

Reportedly, Ricky Rubio doesn't want to play for the Memphis Grizzlies or the Oklahoma City Thunder. Neither do the players on either of those rosters so he'd fit right in. But seriously, I don't blame the dude. This picture to the left will signify his career if he goes to either of those teams.
